The plant locally known as “cincau hijau melilit/merambat” is used to produce green jelly.
Easy to grown and fast growing plant, you can harvest it in no time. Allow a place for the plant to climb and it will happily produce leaves for you Jelly.
It can be easily propagated by stem cutting and layering technique.
The process to produce the jelly is rather simple. You just need to crush the leave in luke warm or filtered water.
Crush the leaves into smaller pieces with you hand until the jelly mix the water.
Filter te leave flake out and leave the jelly to turn hard.
You can put in the refrigator to speed up the process(normally it will take about 6 hours and above).
Your jelly now ready to be served.
